Brantley County posted a perfect week in volleyball action with a school-record four consecutive wins.
The Lady Herons (911, 2-1 Area 3), who had dropped eight of their last nine matches including four in a row, beat visiting Long County for the second time this season in the first match Tuesday, September 4. BCHS won 25-12, 25-18 after sweeping the Lady Blue Tide back on August 22.
Brantley County outlasted Area 3 foe Bryan County capturing a third-set tie-breaker for a 2-1 win. BCHS was swept by the Lady Redskins August 27.
BCHS traveled Thursday, September 5 to Savannah for a Area 3 three-team match with host Savannah High and Savannah Classical Academy.
The Lady Herons kept the Lady Blue Jackets (0-9) winless posting a 25-12, 25-17 victory in the opener. BCHS followed with a 25-12, 2518 victory over the Lady Spartans (2-9).
Brantley County hosted Wayne County Monday (September ). The Lady Herons travel to Darien today (Wednesday, September 11) to face Bryan County and host McIntosh County Academy.
