NAHUNTA — Carl Morgan Niece, 61 of Nahunta, passed away Tuesday morning, August 27, 2024 at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick.
Born in Toledo, OH., Niece’s parents were And rew Niece, Sr. and Alice Marie Dotson Niece. He was also preceded in death by two grandc hildren, James Bryden Glover and Si Otis Carter; his brother, Andrew Niece, Jr.; and three sisters, Nannie Lou Gibson, Teresa Ann Deirth and Beulah Mae Niece.
Niece worked many years as a carpenter. He loved playing guitar, riding his motorcycle, cooking and loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Angie Wilkerson Niece of Nahunta; three children, Jessica Carter (Stefan) of Atkinson, Crystal Niece of Nahunta and Richard Davis of Hickox; five grandchildren, Skyler Byrd (Hannah Hendrix), Saybree Niece, Asher Niece, Judson Carter, Korban Carter; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Ted Niece (Karen) of Nahunta, Johnny Niece (Lynn) of Nahunta, James Niece (Karen) of Fredericksburg, Ind., and Bennie Niece (Jennifer) of Salem, Ind.; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Charlene Martin (Timmy) of Pekin, Ind., Alice Marie Niece of Nahunta and Darlene Niece of Fredericksburg, Ind.; also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
