Pelletier
WAYNESVILLE — Gerald “Gerry” Pelletier, 75 of Waynesville, died Wednesday, August 7, 2024.
The Shelton, Connecticut native had lived in Waynesville the past 10 years and enjoyed participating in the local Bible fellowship.
For many years Pelletier was a boat captain and operated a water sports business on St. Simons Island. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family and their adventurous activities.
He was known as “Pepere” to his family and will always be remembered for making Pepere’s pizza and his love of creating music.
Pelletier was predeceased by a son, Gerry Pelletier.
Survivors are his wife of 49 years, Elisabeth “Beth” Pelletier of Waynesville; daughter, Sarah (James) Bergers of Shelton, Conn.; son, Adam (Jessica) Pelletier of Waynesville; sister, Denise (Michael) Turecek of W. Simsbury, Conn.; 11 grandchildren, three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held in Georgia and in Connecticut.
Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of arrangements.
