WAYNESVILLE — It is with great sadness we announce the death of Revis Charles Chesser, Jr., 43 of Waynesville, who passed away Monday, July 29, 2024.
Born in Blackshear, Chesser’s parents were the late Revis Charles Chesser, Sr., and Mary Ann Trowell. Along with his father, he was also preceded in death by his son, Benjamin Chesser; and a sister, Katina Chesser.
Chesser worked many years as a roofer. He loved his family and loved making people smile and laugh. Chesser was always a jokester and had a huge heart.
He is survived by his wife, Nikki Chesser; his children, Kyle Chesser (Maddie), Ivy Chesser (Tyler), Thomas Chesser, Hunter Rousey, Elijah Teninger, Jay Rousey, Ridge Rousey and Summer Chesser; his grandchildren, Kelly Wallace, Kinsley Chesser and Stella Wallace; mother, Mary Ann Trowell (Willis); siblings, Michael Trowell, Betty Ann Chesser and Heather Chesser; also several nieces, nephews other relatives and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
