NAHUNTA — Kathy Crews Warren, 71 of Nahunta, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2024, at Southeast Georgia Health System after an extended illness.
Mrs. Warren was born in Hickox to the late Plen and Irene Hickox Crews and lived here all of her life. She graduated from Brantley County High School in 1970. Mrs. Warren worked at Brantley County High School in school nutrition for 21 years. She was a member of Hickox Baptist Church and loved to read.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ray Warren; two brothers, Kermit Crews and Gary Crews; one sister, Barbara Kelly.
Survivors include one son, Adam Warren of Nahunta; one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Julio Rosas of Macon; three grandchildren, Caitlynn Warren, Jessica Rosas and Jaqueline Rosas; one great-granddaughter, Sorayah Rosas; two brothers and a sisterin- law, Ben and Jill Crews of Mooresville, N.C., and Tim Crews of Waycross; her beloved dog, Ed; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Visitation will be held today (Wednesday, August 7, 2024) from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., at Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 11 a.m., at the Chapel of Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta with Rev. Mike Hendrix officiating.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Crews, David Garrett, Julio Rosas, Lamar Crews, Gene Crews and Geoff Jackson.
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
