Pecan Festival had something for everyone

The Pecan Festival of Georgia gave Pierce Countians and visitors a day of live performances, local crafts and diverse food vendors. Festival goers enjoyed arts and crafts vendors, car show and pecan pie and dessert contest, the day was filled with fun and excitement for everyone. 2024 Pecan Festival of Georgia better than ever

A brightly colored rainbow of classic cars was on display at the Pecan Festival as people made their way from Main St. to Blackshear City Park. Pictures by Greg O’Driscoll

The crowds were big this year, packing out the Blackshear City Park with festival goers, sampling everything the Georgia Pecan Festival had to offer this year be it arts and crafts, food, music, friends and then some.

Amy Lee Crews of Patterson got her cast off on Monday and was all smiles walking around Blackshear City Park.

Not just people make new friends at the Pecan Fest. Wayne Holder’s hybrid bully Zeus really wants to play with Thomas Beck and Ginger Boone’s much smaller Navy Bean and Leilani.
