Johns says ‘Git-R-Done’

E.J. Johns (above right) came to Trick or Treat in Blackshear City Park dressed as the popular character Towmater from Pixar’s movie “Cars”. Meanwhile, County Manager Raphel Maddox (above left) helped a new trick or treater get their wings under them, grandson Seth Maddox. Other costumes at the event ranged from cute to funny to downright scary, including cartoon characters, super heroes, story book characters and horror movie monsters. For more Trick or Treat fun in full color turn to Page 11... if you dare!

Emmanuel Baptist Church also held their own Harvest Festival the evening of Oct. 31. A family friendly event featuring games, inflatables, food trucks, candy and prizes, there was plenty of fun to be had. Emmanuel Baptist even had a special pre-school area for the littlest celebrants. Plenty of volunteers were on hand to help ensure everyone had a safe, but exciting time.
