Former Pierce Countian, the Rev. Roger Naylor, is currently serving as president of the Utah-Idaho Southern Baptist Convention.
Naylor is a former pastor of Laura Chapel Baptist Church near Patterson and a former member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Blackshear. He is also the former editor of The Blackshear Times and The Telfair Enterprise in Helena-McRae.
Naylor also worked with the Southeast Health District.
He is currently serving as pastor of the First Baptist Church of Bonners Ferry, Idaho.
Naylor and his wife, , have four children and two grandsons. He is a graduate of Liberty University's School of Divinity (VA) and Valdosta State University.
