Operation Christmas Child
Second Baptist Church will be the drop off center for the 2024 National Collection Week for Operation Christmas Child (OCC) again this year.
The church is located at 301 Tomberlin Road, Waycross. Shoeboxes are to be dropped off under the shelter at the fellowship hall in back of the church. Please use the driveway on the right side of the main building.
National Collection Week is November 18- 25 including from 10 a.m.- noon Mon., Nov. 18, Wednesday, Nov. 20 and Friday, Nov. 22, from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19 and Thursday, Nov. 21, from 9-11 a.m. Sat., Nov. 23, 2-4 p.m. Sun., Nov. 24 and from 79 a.m. Mon., Nov. 25.
Youmans Chapel Church
Family and Friends Day will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, November 10, at Youmans Chapel Baptist Church. Following the morning service, lunch will be served. Afterwards, there will be games for children and youth including a bounce house and obstacle course. Pastor Jimmy Thrift and Youmans Chapel congregation invite all to attend worship, and enjoy activities following the service.
