Southern GA Regional Comm. meeting to be held A meeting of the Southern Georgia Regional Commission Council and a Public Hearing for the Regional Plan Annual Implementation are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 21. The SGRC Council meeting will begin immediately following the public hearing. For additional details on the Regional Plan, please visit www.sgrc.us.
An executive committee meeting will be held prior to the public hearing and council meeting at 10 a.m. Meetings will be held at the SGRC Waycross Office, 1725 South GA Parkway, West, Waycross.

Friends of the Library meeting rescheduled The October 15 Friends of the Library meeting cancelled due to Hurricane Helene. The meeting has been rescheduled for November 19. The Friends of the Library are currently seeking a vice president, secretary and treasurer. If you are interested in any of these positions or helping to raise funds for our local library, please attend.
