Pierce County 4-H/FFA Market Hog Show and Sale will be held at 5 p.m. Monday, Nov 11at the new Pierce County High School Livestock Arena. The sale will begin after the show.
All businesses and community members are encouraged to come and support our Pierce County youth. ****** 4-H is holding a Krispy Kreme Doughnut Fundraiser from Nov. 1 until Nov. 18. Members are selling doughnuts, gift certificates and coffee.
All money is due to the 4-H Office by November 18. 4-H members earn prizes by selling Krispy Kreme Items.
Community members may purchase Krispy Kreme products from a 4-H member or call the Pierce County 4-H Office to place an order.
Products include glazed $12, chocolate glazed, lemon filled, raspberry and Kreme filled are all $14. Gift certificates (can be used at any Krispy Krem Location) are $14 and Decaf and regular coffee are both $12.
Pick-up will be December 11 at the NFC gym. ****** 4-H is offering a community care project, Care Bags 4 Kids.
Community members may donate childrens items such as nonperishable snacks, drinks, blankets, books, book bags, childrens toys, etc. to the 4H Office, at 705 College Avenue, Blackshear.
These items will be packaged together and delivered to children in need. More specifically, the bags will be sent to children that have suffered devastation from Hurricane Helene.
