Peggy Delane Fuller, 59, of Mershon, passed away early Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at her residence.
She was born to the late Otha Lee Fuller Sr. and Christine Fuller. She lived her entire life in Pierce County and enjoyed a long career in the correctional business. She was an avid and faithful member of Evergreen Church in Bristol.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Otha Lee Fuller Jr. and Kenneth Fuller.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories her two sons, Lance Holmes and Brad Holmes; three grandchildren; Xavier Holmes, Aryiana Holmes and Camilla Holmes; four sisters; Louella Fuller, Blackshear, Iris (Donald) Presley, Bristol, Lisa Miller, Waycross and Marilyn Madison, Alma; one brother, Steve (Gail) Fuller, Blackshear; one sister-in-law, Kathy Fuller, Jacksonville, FL; three special aunts, Jerlene Miller, Johnnie Mae Miller and Fannie Mae Williams, all of Waycross; three special friends, Cathy (Ben) Taylor, Blackshear, Alamae Myles, Patterson and Stefenee Carr, Blackshear and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and sorrowing friends.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16, at the funeral home 505 Ware Street, Blackshear.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, from the Evergreen Church in Bristol. Pastor Nathaniel Anderson Jr will deliver words of comfort.
Interment will follow in the Union Chapel Baptist Church in Mershon.
