Georgia State School Superintendent Richard Woods visited Pierce County last Tuesday, Oct. 8. Supt. Woods was in the area to see how Pierce County and the school system was recovering from Hurricane Helene. State Supt. Woods took time to interact with students as they returned to school following Hurricane Helene. He spread good vibes among faculty and students at Blackshear Elementary School.
