Roy Robinson, 77, died suddenly Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Memorial Satilla Health.
He was born December 28, 1946 in Pierce County to the late Clyde Robinson and Jenny Bertha Hall Robinson.
He retired from the Pierce County Board of Education, and he was formerly employed by the City of Blackshear Road Robinson
Maintenance Department for 14 years. He was a member of Offerman Baptist Church, and he enjoyed gardening, doing yard work and socializing with family and friends whom he deeply loved.
Survivors include his life partner of 14 years, Stepheny Walker Kirton, Waycross; five children, Pamela Robinson Maynes and Eddie Robinson, both of Pierce County, Jessica Kirton Middleton (Matt), Townsend, Morgan Kirton Dyal (Eric), Blackshear and Will Kirton (Halana),Ware County; grandchildren, Stephen Bailey (Lily), Marah Maynes, Devin Robinson, Bailey Middleton, Emma Dyal, Jill Middleton, Lindy Jane Dyal, Delaney Middleton, Colt Kirton and Clint Kirton; great-grandchildren, Zoey Bailey, Khloe Bailey and Percy Robinson; five siblings, Betty Kembrough, Linda Brown (Robert), Mary Hodges, Annette Hunter (Darrel) and Harold David Robinson (Charlene) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorialization was by cremation.
