Region 3A tournament set for Saturday

Pierce County’s thirdranked volleyball team dropped a pair of best-offive matches at Camden County and at home to Glynn Academy.

The Lady Bears (21-10) fell to 7-9 against teams in Class 4A or higher with the setbacks.

PCHS traveled Tuesday (October 8) for a rematch with the Lady Terrors and close out the regular season Thursday, October 10 at Wayne County.

The Lady Bears will travel Saturday to Savannah to participate in the Region 3 tournament being held at Woodville-Tompkins High School with Savannah Arts Academy serving as the host school.

PCHS fell 25-16, 25-21 and 25-20 to the Class 6A Wildkittens Wednesday, October 2 in Kingsland. Camden County won the first matchup 2-0 September 10 at home.

Glynn Academy posted a 25-10 25-20, 25-10 road victory Thursday, October 3.
