A big crowd turned out last week for the official ribbon cutting at Cotton Pickin’ Boutique and Brew. Proprietor Theresa Waters says she is definitely a people person who loves coffee and loves clothes. She brings not only her own unique recipes to the menu, such as the doughnut breakfast sandwich, but also her experience as a mom, which is why her shop includes a play area for little ones. “It’s important for moms to be able to come in and enjoy things too.” There were plenty of free samples of Waters’ menu on hand and lots of great prizes for a seemingly never-ending raffle with dozens of winners.
