Robert Allen Cox, 69, of Waycross, passed away Monday, September 2, 2024, at his residence, following a short illness.
Born May 29, 1955, in Waycross, he was a son of Beverly Ruth Lotz Cox and the late Jasper Roan Cox Jr. He grew up in Colville, Washington Cox
and graduated from Colville High School in 1973. He also lived in Portland, Oregon before returning to Waycross in 2002. He had worked as a sales representative for a diamond wholesale company and was of the Protestant faith.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Colleen Cox James and a brother, James Cox.
Survivors include his three children, Ryan Cox, Buckeye, AZ, Shawn Cox (wife Sara), San Diego, CA;, and Rachel Cox, Yakima, WA; six grandchildren, Christian Cox, Jaxon Cox, Cruz Cox, Dylan Elliott, Clover Cruz and Carmine Cruz; mother, Beverly Cox, Waycross; sister, Cynthia Haslam (husband Dan), Everett, WA; two brothers, Randall Cox (wife Shelly), Waycross and David Cox (wife Jennifer) of Brazil and many loved nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Graveside funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, from the Kettle Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Chris Roberts officiating.
