Gunner Hale (left) was named the Employee of the Month at the regular county commission meeting September 3. He is shown being presented a certificate by County Chairman Neal Bennett. Hale is a paramedic and EMT with the Pierce County Emergency Medical Service. He was recognized for his professionalism and dedication to taking care of patients and seeing to their needs. Hale has been with Pierce EMS for over two years. Public Safety Director Blake James said Hale sets the standard as a paramedic, but also is a proud husband, father, Christian and veteran. “Hale, and the work that he does, is a blessing to Pierce County and all of it’s citizens,” said James.
