Hospice Satilla and Pierce County Recreation Department recently hosted a successful Bingo and Breakfast Event. The community came together for a morning of fun, food and fellowship. The event was held at the gym and brought together seniors from all walks of life for a few hours of entertainment, a hearty meal and the opportunity to win some exciting prizes.
Stacey Thrift of Hospice Satilla, key organizer of the event, said, “It is always wonderful to see the community come out and enjoy themselves at events like these. Bingo and Breakfast is a fun way to bring people together and spread joy, while raising awareness of the services Hospice Satilla and the Pierce County Recreation Department provide.”
At the end of the event, 11 door prizes were given out to the lucky winners. The door prizes were donated by Brenda Merchant and Hospice Satilla. Seniors 55 and older, please make plans to join us the second Monday of each month for Bingo and Breakfast, 10:00 a.m. October 14th at the SEGARAC gym.
