A Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) is now available locally.
The program allows senior citizen participants to get paid while learning new skills.
Seniors who are 55 years of age or older, have a low income and want to get back into the workforce are eligible.
SCSEP can connect seniors with a local nonprofit or government agency, where they will get paid to build work experience through on-the-job training. For more information, call 770538-2657.
