Chesser
Shanna Michelle Roberson Chesser, 45, of Patterson, passed away Sunday morning, September 8, 2024, at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, FL.
Born in Waycross April 28, 1979, she lived in Pierce County all her life. She was a 1998 graduate of Pierce County High School and was the manager of SonShine Kids Daycare and The Growing Patch in Patterson. She loved fishing, shopping, spending time with family and friends and getting out, traveling and seeing new places. She underwent a kidney transplant in 2013 and was known as being a selfless person who was always there to help others. She was a member of Offerman Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Clayton Milton Roberson.
Survivors include her husband, Brian Chesser, Patterson; her mother, Iris Davis Roberson Aspinwall, Patterson; her uncle, Joe Davis, Patterson; her “Ma and Pa”, Lisa and Tony Gill, Patterson; her father and mother-in-law, Gene and Janet Chesser, Seville, FL; her sister-in-law, Amanda “Beth” Chesser, Seville; a special friend, Jordyn Boyette, Odum; a niece, Hadlee Jane Boyette, Odum and several other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. tonight, Wednesday, Sept. 11, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, from the Offerman Baptist Church with the Rev. Edward Colley officiating.
Interment will be in the Offerman Cemetery.
