Herring visits exchange

Pierce County Head Coach, Ryan Herring recently gave Blackshear Exchange Club members a preview of the Pierce County Bears upcoming 2024 football season. Coach Herring said the defending state championship Bears have worked hard, both in the weight room and on the practice field in preparation for this season. According to Coach Herring, this is the Bears most difficult schedule they have had during his six year tenure in Pierce County, but he believes if the team plays up to its capabilities, it will be another successful season. The Bears started the season off winning 41-7 over Coosa Christian and 42-7 over Brantley County. The Bears will play Wayne County this coming Friday in Jesup.
