Family Nurse Practitioner Kelli Beard (center, holding scissors) celebrated the opening of her new medical practice in Blackshear with a ribbon cutting last Friday. Family, friends and members of the local business community enjoyed snacks and drinks as Beard told those gathered about herself and the special meaning behind the B Well logo. The ‘B’ is for Beard and the five dots behind it stand for herself, her husband and their three daughters. The bee itself has a Trinity or “Irish” Knot worked into its design as a sign of their faith and a nod to the family’s rumored Irish heritage.
