Workers with the Georgia Department of Transportation’s District 5 Asphalt and Bridge Crew assisted Pierce County Public Works Employees to repair a washout on Blue Lake Road. The road, located in south-central Pierce County, was washed out by floodwaters during Hurricane “Debby” last week. The road is the only way in and out of the community. Photo special to The Times.
