Paul and Michelle Graham of Blackshear are proud to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Meagan Graham of Blackshear to Max Carter of Thomasville. Carter is the son of John and Sharon Carter of Thomasville.
The bride–elect’s grandparents are Billy and Janet Taylor of Blackshear, the late Felton and Bobbie Nell Roundtree, and Diane Graham of Blackshear and the late Rev. O.J. Graham.
The bride-elect is a 2016 graduate of Pierce County High School. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 2020 majoring in communication science and disorders and a master’s degree from Valdosta State University in 2021 for speech-language pathology. She is currently working as a speech therapist at AmeriTherapy in Valdosta.
The groom-elect’s grandparents are the late Lawton and Eleanor Smith of Statenville and the late Kenneth Carter and Brigitte Carter of Valdosta.
The groom-elect is a 2013 graduate of Thomas County Central High. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Valdosta State University in 2017 majoring in computer information systems. He is currently selfemployed developing software for Fleet Optics.
The wedding and reception will be held Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Gin Creek Plantation in Hartsfield.
