Sheriff’s Report

• Cruelty to Child (1st Degree): Brandie Michelle Wingfield, a 43-year-old white female, and Charles Wesley Janiak, a 47-year-old white male, were arrested and charged Thursday, August 1, 2024.

Pierce County Sheriff’s Deputy Travis Courson, Sergeant Bruce Burrows and ACE Unit Investigator Greg Nettles responded to a residence in Pierce County Wingfield was charged with Cruelty to Child, First Degree. Janiak was charged with Cruelty to Child, First Degree, and Cruelty to Child, First Degree (second count).

• Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession and Use of Drug Related Objects, Driving with License Suspended, Brake Light Violation: Stephanie Lynn King, a 46-year-old white female, was arrested Friday, August 2, 2024, and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession and Use of Drug Related Objects, Driving with License Suspended and a Brake Light Violation.

Pierce County Sheriff’s K9 Sergeant Michael James conducted a traffic stop in Pierce County resulting in the arrest of King.

• Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession and Use of Drug Related Objects, Felony Violation of Probation: Charles William Parker, a 55-year-old white male, was arrested Saturday, August 3, 2024, and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession and Use of Drug Related Objects and Felony Violation of Probation with a warrant served.

Pierce County Sheriff’s K9 Sergeant Michael James and Deputy Landon Ryals responded to a residence in Pierce County resulting in the arrest of Parker.

• Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession and Use of Drug Related Objects, Possession of Marijuana less than 1 oz.: Charles Lance Bowles, a 56-year-old white male, was arrested Saturday, August 3 and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession and Use of Drug Related Objects, Possession of Marijuana less than 1 oz. Pierce County Sheriff’s K9 Sergeant Michael James and Deputy Landon Ryals conducted a traffic stop in Pierce County resulting in the arrest of Bowles.
