Members of the PCHS Girls State Champion Golf Team were recognized at last Thursday night’s school board meeting. Shown (l-r) are Head Coach Stuart Stipe, Assistant Coach Kim Spivey, Senior Lily Spivey, Junior Mackenzie Connell, Sophomores Belle Sinclair and Chloe Lynn and Freshman Millie Kate Dixon. The Lady Bears were state champions and area 1-AA champions. Connell and Spivey were named to both the all-area and all-state team. Stipe said the theme for this year was ordinary people doing extraordinary things. He praised all team members as extraordinary and thanked the parents, school administration and school board for their support. This is the third year in a row the Lady Bears golf team has won the state championship.
