Mary Burch, 74, of Blackshear passed away Monday evening July 29, 2024, at Harborview Pierce County in Blackshear following an extended Burch
illness.
Born September 11, 1949, in Folkston, she was a daughter of the late Emmet and Ella Sandiford Burch. She lived in Pierce County for the past 20 years and was a longtime housewife.
Survivors include her three daughters, Crystye Hooks (husband Bruce), Melissa Shirah and Rebecca Dugger (husband Robert); three sisters, Ida Thrift, Georgette Pashby and Jeanette Banning and several other relatives.
Memorialization was by cremation.

Infant Madeline Marie Gill
Infant Madeline Marie Gill, daughter of Rikki Williams and Adam Gill, was too perfect for this world and was cradled into the arms of Jesus Tuesday, July 30, 2024.
Preceding her in death were her great-grandparents, James Ward and Wylene Cason Woodcock, Marie Ammons Thornton and Curtis Eugene Johnson.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her big brother, Jackson Gill; maternal grandfather, Eric Ward Woodcock, Patterson; paternal grandparents, Wade and Angela Johnson Gill, Patterson; great-grandparents, Marvin and Kathleen Gill, Offerman; and numerous aunts, uncles, great-aunts and greatuncles, cousins and other relatives.
