Nominations are now open for an open seat on the Pierce County Chamber of Commerce’s board of directors.
The deadline for nominating a new director is 5 p.m. Friday, September 9. The election of a new director will occur at the board meeting Thursday, September 15, at noon. The director will take office immediately to fill the unexpired term of the Dan Tanner, through year end. Tanner resigned this week.
Should the new director seek a term in his/her own right, that term will begin January 2023.
Nominees must be either a Chamber member or employed by a Chamber member business. Nominees should be aware they have been nominated and be willing to actively participate in Chamber activities and attend board meetings. Self-nominations will be accepted. Only Chamber members may nominate potential new members.
