WAYCROSS — Mr. Phillip Glenn Mervin Hausladen, 94, died Sunday, January 1, 2023, at Hospice House Satilla.
He was born June 17, 1928 in Vista, Calif., to the late Charles C. Hausladen and Marie Green Hausladen. Mr. Hausladen joined the United States Air Force, and served for 22 years before retiring as master sergeant. He moved to Waycross in 1968 after living in many different places with the military. In 1973, he opened and operated Pasquales (Papa’s Pizza) until 1996.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Mable Horner Hausladen; his first wife, Virginia Sue Gerald Hausladen; his second wife, Gloria Sue Holle Hausladen; two brothers and one sister.
Survivors include four daughters, Lynn Crews (Roger), Karen Roberts (Jamie), Carol Ann Keefauver (Hank) and Phyllis Hausladen; seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; two step-daughters, Wendy Mattox and Liz Gowen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorialization is by cremation. Mr. Hausladen will be laid to rest in Oakland Cemetery.
