Bonita Taylor Fussell

 WAYCROSS — Mrs. Bonita Taylor Fussell, 62, of Waycross, died Sunday morning, April 23, 2023, at Memorial Satilla Health after an extended illness. Mrs. Fussell was born in Clearwater, Fla., to the late Ray Taylor and Kay Sullivan Taylor. Living the majority of her life in Waycross, Mrs. Fussell was a graduate of Waycross High School, and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She worked as a CNA and Activity Director for Bayview Nursing Home in Nahunta. Mrs. Fussell loved her job and the interaction and friendships she was able to make through all the activities she planned for the residents. Mrs. Fussell also enjoyed singing and crocheting. Along with her parents, Mrs. Fussell also was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, E.W. and Mary Lou Sullivan, and her paternal grandparents, Lester and Eula Mae Taylor. She is survived by her husband, Keith Fussell of Waycross; her daughter, Penni Harris (Charles) of Douglas; one granddaughter, Lexie Bradford of Douglas; four siblings, Ray Taylor, Jr., of Blackshear, Linda Taylor of Waycross, Chelly Beaty of Blackshear, and Mary Louise Taylor of Douglas; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
