BLACKSHEAR — Mrs. Elizabeth Grace Baisden, 81, died Thursday afternoon, April 20, 2023, at her residence in Pierce County. Mrs. Baisden was born July 18, 1941 in Ware County to the late James Alfred Stanfield and Opal Grace Howard Stanfield. She was raised in Racepond and Waycross. Mrs. Baisden graduated from Waycross High School in 1959. She worked at various places during her life, but was mostly a loving and devoted homemaker. Mrs. Baisden was a member of New Life Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Baisden was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Daniel Baisden; great grandchild, Ellie Layne Bryson; and her brother, Robert Howard Stanfield. Survivors include three children, Tony Bryson (Regina) of Waycross, Teresa Tuten (Ray) of Hawkinsville, and T.W. Lott (Amanda Wilson) of Waycross; grandchildren, Aaron Bryson (Macie), Brandon Bryson, Jake Griffin (Kasey), Carrie Harrison (Gus) and Cole Tuten; great grandchildren, Brayden, Everleigh, Wesley, Brody, Jada, Mabry, Jace and Kayla; sisters, Sue Miller (Bobby) of Lafayette, La., and Deborah Deal (Jerald) of Waycross; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held Monday, April 24, at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Oakland Cemetery.
