Paving work begins on Albany Ave. Just as planned, Thrift Brothers Paving of Waycross was on the job early Monday morning, March 13, to start finishing work on Albany Avenue. Monday’s opening day consisted of removal and milling of the street’s old surface. One lane of the street remained open with the help of flagmen in the front and back of the truck and milling device working in tandem to keep vehicles moving. Target date for completion of the work is May 15.
