WAYCROSS — Matt Thomas, 42, passed away suddenly Sunday, August 6, 2023, at his residence in Waycross.
Thomas was born in Waycross to the late Walter Dannah “Danny” Thomas and Judith “Judy” Colleen Grant Thomas. He was a 1999 graduate of Ware County High School and employed as an electrician at Kings Electric, but most recently with Varnadore Electric.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was also preceded in death by a brother, Paul Thomas.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Amber Thomas of Waycross; three children, Christian Frick, Caden Thomas, and Mason Thomas, all of Waycross; a granddaughter, Sutton Braverman; a brother, Chuck Thomas (wife Cheryl) of Millwood; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held Friday afternoon, August 11 at Hebardville Methodist Church.
