Travis Raynell Goble, Sr.

WAYCROSS — Travis Raynell Goble, Sr., 79, died Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Hospice House Satilla.

Goble was a native of Bristol and lived most of his life in Waycross. He owned and operated R.J. Thomas Business Machines and was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church.

Goble was preceded in death by his parents, J.W. Goble and Louise Lord Goble; and his wife, Diane Goble.

He is survived by two sons, Ray Goble, Jr. (Robbi) of Blackshear and Stacy Goble (Laura) of Waycross; five grandchildren, Shelton Goble (Lanie) of Waycross, Zack Goble (Annie) of Grovetown, Ga., Zane Goble of Blackshear, Amanda “Tomie” Jones (Cree) of Waycross, and Gannon Goble of Abbeville, Ga.; two great grandchildren, Peyton Goble and Jerzie Jones; a sister, Geraldine “Sister” Rogers of Waycross; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A funeral service was held Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Sunnyside Baptist Church.

Burial followed in Greenlawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to Hospice Satilla, 808 Evergreen Way Waycross, GA 31501.
