WAYCROSS — Mrs. Barbara Ann Hall, 92, died peacefully Friday morning, June 16, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her family.
Ms. Hall was a native and lifelong resident of Ware County. She was the daughter of the late Elam Thomas Cowart and Emmie Jane Cowart. And, she was the last surviving sibling of three brothers and three sisters. Ms. Hall also was preceded in death by her former husband, John Hall.
She was a retired co-owner of A&D Clothing Manufacturing Company. Ms. Hall was a member of Deenwood Baptist Church, which was founded in her home on May 6,1952.
She was the mother of three children, Patricia Dempsey, Brenda Dean (John) and James R. Hall (deceased); grandmother of eight, great grandmother of 13, and great-great grandmother of five.
A graveside funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 22 at Oakland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today (Wednesday, June 21) at Music Funeral Home.
