Eunice Henderson Johnson, 51, passed away Friday, September 23, 2022, after a brief illness.
She was born December 12, 1970 in Troy, NY to the parentage of Janie Mae Henderson and Tommy Robertson. She attended public schools in Troy, NY.
She was employed with Pierce County Transit until she devoted her time to taking care of five of her grandchildren and her disabled mother.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Flossie Mae Parrish and a grandson, Devon Henderson.
She was married to Lawrence Johnson, Atlanta.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories one daughter, Jessica Henderson, Hawkinsville; seven grandchildren: Ocean Calontay Henderson, Deyleon Jermayne Henderson, DeAsia Aladdin Henderson, Asunnyah Justice Henderson, Perfect Unice Henderson, Si’Diamond Henderson and Domonique Henderson; her mother: Janie Mae Henderson, Alma; her father, Tommy Robertson, Albany, NY; three sisters, Anna M. Davis, Henrico, VA; Viola Robertson, Schenectady, NY and Laryssa Robertson, Albany, NY; five brothers: Timothy Robertson, Joseph Robertson, Tyrone Robertson of Albany, NY and Shane Rouse and Matthew Rouse of Watervliet, NY; two special nephews, Jermaine Robert Henderson (Ona), Mershon and Leon James Parrish (Chante), Waycross; one special niece, Monique Antonette Parrish (Arthur), Jacksonville, FL; two special friends, Betty Jane Gibbs and Laglenda Boyd, Alma and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and sorrowing friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, October 1, from the Union Chapel Baptist Church in Mershon with Minister Helen Staggers giving words of comfort.
