DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Mr. Colton Andrew Hall, 31, died suddenly early Monday morning, October 31, 2022, at his residence in Daytona Beach, Fla.
He was born August 21, 1991, in Columbus, Ga. Colton was currently working as a tile installer, but he had previously worked as a chef at Waffle House. He was an avid musician, who wrote and recorded many songs. Colton dreamed of becoming a professional musician.
Colton was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Brenda Maddox; and paternal grandfather, James Hall.
Survivors include three beautiful children, Colby Hall, Layla Hall and James Cooper; his significant other, Erin Shannon of Daytona, Fla.; father, Jimmy Hall of Waycross; mother, Dana (Ray) Holmes of Phoenix City, Ala.; three brothers and one sister, Justin Hall of Blackshear, Nicholas Stokes of Columbus, Brendon Hall of Waycross, and Ariana Hall of Opelika, Ala; paternal grandmother, Betty Hall of Waycross; maternal grandfather, Glen Maddox of Smith Station, Ala.; and Jim Spatz of San Diego, Calif.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 4, at Suwannee Chapel Church of God of Prophecy. Burial followed in the church cemetery. The family receive friends the hour prior to Friday’s service.
