WAYCROSS — Mr. Joseph Charles “Joey” Prevatt, 56, died Monday morning, November 21, 2022, at his residence in Waycross.
Mr. Prevatt was born Wednesday, May 11, 1966, to his parents Mr. Joseph Charles Prevatt, Sr. and Carolyn Cason Prevatt in Waycross. He went to college at Valdosta State and also in Athens. He worked at Peacock Septic Tank Service as a bookkeeper. He loved cars, motorcycles, deer hunting and watching his son play baseball.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, J.C. and Dorothy Prevatt; and his maternal grandparents, Earlish and Luvada Cason.
His survivors include, his daughter, Haley Crews (Kyle) of Hoboken; his son Tyler Prevatt of Waycross; a grandson, Kade Crews; and a brother, Chris Prevatt (Teresa) of Blackshear.
A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 25 at Oakland Cemetery.
