Painting the town Gold for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Painting the town Gold for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Angela Carstens, owner of Art by Angie, paints the town gold in honor of Cancer Awareness month in September. Carstens is partnering with Campground Ministries in memory of Campbell Jude “Camp” Tatum, who passed away from cancer on January 19, 2017, just before his third birthday. She is giving 50 percent of the proceeds to the non-profit organization to further childhood cancer research for any of her contracted work on a business. Carstens has painted several businesses across the community, including the Waycross Dairy Queen to support this cause.
