WAYCROSS — Mrs. Hellon Fullwood Music, 95, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at her residence in Waycross following an extended illness.
She was born in Ware County to the late James Alva Fullwood and Grace Cribb Fullwood. She was employed with various sewing factories in the area and also worked for King Edward Cigar before retiring from General Box. She was a member of Crossview Church of God of Prophecy and the Disabled American Veteran (DAV) Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Timothy Music; two sons, Daniel Wayne Music and David Ashley Music, Sr.; a grandson, Stephen Music; and was the last of 10 siblings.
She is survived by her son, Timothy R. Music (Kim) of Waycross; a daughter, Alice Cady (Tommy) of Waycross; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren; three daughters-in-law, Joni Music of Dixie Union, Evelyn Heintz of Waycross, and Teresa Dowdy of Jacksonville, Fla.; a special sister-in-law, Sadie Music of Waresboro; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, October 3, 2022 at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Telmore Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Music Funeral Home.
