WAYNESVILLE – Betty Nell Hill Frost, 87, of Waynesville passed away Saturday afternoon, January 28, 2023 at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick after an extended illness.
Born in Danielsville, Ga., Mrs. Frost’s parents were Anderson Nathaniel Hill and Pearl Carlton Hill. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Frank William Frost; two sons, Guerry Dewayne Frost and Jimmy Jerome Frost; and several siblings.
Mrs. Frost was a homemaker and a member of Waynesville Missionary Baptist Church. She loved crocheting with her grandbabies, baking cakes, making wedding dresses, sewing, and making corn shuck flowers. Her favorite color was yellow and she loved butterflies and birds.
Survivors include her son, Guy Vernon Frost of Valdosta; three grandchildren, David William Frost (Kristen) of Waynesville, Sherri Teston of Pembroke and Tina Milese Traver (Alan) Tampa, Fla.; eight great-grandchildren, Jesse Lajuenesse, Makinsy Frost, Orianna Lajuenesse, Eric Frost, Megan Frost, Milee Rooks, Lita Hatheway and Sophia Rooks; a brother and sister-in-law, Junior Hill (Linda) of Brunswick; a sister, Myrtle Hill of Brunswick; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 2 p.m., at Waynesville Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Wainright officiating.
