EASLEY, S.C. — Bonnie Thrift Johnson Futch passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at her daughter’s home in Easley, South Carolina with her daughter, Desiree and granddaughter, Heather by her bedside.
Mrs. Futch was 87 years young. A native of Brantley County, she worked at Southeastern Bank in Folkston for many years before retiring. Mrs. Futch and her husband, Roswald opened and operated Johnson’s Corner Market in Folkston for many years.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Roswald Johnson; her second husband, James R. Futch; and a granddaughter, Shelley Williams.
Mrs. Futch is survived by her daughter, Desiree Burggren; granddaughter, Heather (Grant) Sullivan; and two great-granddaughters, Sydney Sullivan and Lillian Sullivan.
A funeral service was held Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home.
Burial followed at Pineview Cemetery.
