WAYCROSS — Jesse Lee Rice, 30 of Brantley County, died early Friday morning, January 20, 2023 in Orange Park.
Rice was born July 26, 1992 in Michigan to Konnie Rice Strickland and Shawn Rice. He worked many years in the lawncare service and was handy repairman and gardner.
In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his stepfather, Riley Strickland; fiance’, Danielle Merrill of Waycross; three daughters, Phoenix Rice, Athena McDaniel and Aurora Rice all of Waycross; four brothers, David Harris of Hawaii, twin brother Junior Rice of Waycross, and Preston Strickland of Waycross and Gage Rice of Waycross; two sisters, Ashley Meacheume of Waycross and Alexis Strickland of Waycross; several aunts and uncles; step grandparents, Linda and Buddy Strickland of Waycross; and grandfather, Donnie Leverette of Brantley County.
Memorialization is by cremation.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 p.m., today (Saturday, January 28, 2023) at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church on Central Avenue.
Howard’s Funeral Home of Ludowici is in charge of arrangements.
