Mixed results met the Pierce County High volleyball team in Lyons last week, with one win and one loss.
The team lost to Toombs 14-25, 25-19, 5-15 Tuesday, September 27.
A defeat (25-20, 25-21) against Windsor Forest came later in the day.
Currently ranked 4th in the region, the team will play their last home match of the season Monday, October 10.
Matches start at 4:00, with faceoffs against Bradwell and Brantley.
Coach Robbie Spires reports that the team’s Seniors will be honored before the 7:00 match.
Matches against Tatnall and Vidalia scheduled for Thusday, September 29 were cancelled due to Hurrican Ian.
They will not be played.
