Mary Rozier Millis

REDDICK, Fla. – Mary Corrine Rozier Millis, 92 of Reddick, Fla., passed away Wednesday morning, December 28, 2022, at Haven Hospice in Gainesville, Fla., after an extended illness. 

Mrs. Millis is preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Franklin Rozier; an infant son, Van Russell Millis; two sisters, Peggy Jo Chancey and Patsy Winburn; and a nephew, Kenny Chancey. 

Mrs. Millis was a real estate broker for Great American Coast. She was raised in Waynesville and loved being on the farm there. She enjoyed being in the country and owned a large thoroughbred horse farm and raised poodles. Mrs. Millis loved fashion, she was a model and a gourmet cook. 

Survivors include her three daughters and sons-in-law, Karen Millis of Reddick, Fla., Cheryl Lynch (Scott) of Waynesville and Bonnie Rheborg (Ulf) of St. Simons Island; four grandchildren, Marissa Millis of Ocala, Fla., Derrick Davis of Jacksonville, Fla., Bjorn Rheborg of Va., and Eric Rheborg of Atlanta; five great-grandchildren, Mason Cothern, Brooks Baxley, Russell Davis, Elin Rheborg and Oliver Rheborg; a sister, Kathy Sipowicz of St. Augustine, Fla.; a niece, Cindy of Jacksonville, Fla.; a nephew, Curtis Chancey of Jacksonville, Fla.; and also several other relatives and a host of friends. 

Visitation will be held 30 minutes before the service Saturday, January 7, 2023, starting at 1:30 p.m., at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Waynesville.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. 

Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
