  Earl Daniel Clements 

BRUNSWICK — Earl Daniel Clements, 93 of Brunswick, died Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at his residence.

Clements was born October 14, 1929 in McRae to the late Matthew Lee Clements and Emma Lee Caldwell Clements. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.

Clements was a 1946 graduate of Shiloh High School in Lumber City, and attended Savannah School of Business. He had been a resident of Brunswick since 1957.

Clements was the former manager of A&P Grocery Store, was an associate with O’Quinn’s Men’s Store, and was also an associate with Belk–Hudson.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Brunswick, as well as the McDonald’s Coffee Gang. Clements enjoyed birdwatching, being outdoors, and being well dressed.

In addition to his parents, Clements was preceded in death by four brothers, Edwin Clements, William “Billy” Clements, Leroy Clements and James Clements; and a granddaughter, Lindsey Christine Ferguson. 

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Marion Strickland Clements of Brunswick; a daughter, Crystal Clements Ferguson (Tom) of Brunswick; two grandsons, Ryan Thomas Ferguson and John Thomas Ferguson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service was conducted Friday morning, January 20, 2023, in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Crandall officiating.

Members of The McDonalds Coffee Gang served as pallbearers.

Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home of Brunswick was in charge of arrangements.
