RIVERSIDE — Charles F. O’Quinn, 76 of Riverside, passed away Monday January 2, 2023 at home after an extended illness.
Born in Charlton County, his parents were J.D. and Lucille Crews O’Quinn.
A former mayor of Winokur and better than the average man, O’Quinn was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Herrin O’Quinn; daughter, Karen O’Quinn of Helena, Mont., Brenda (Bobby) Laramore, of Hudson, Fla., and Jeffrey (Janice) O’Quinn of Hoboken; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren and multiple adopted children and grandchildren; also several other relatives and a host of friends.
Graveside services were held Saturday morning, January 7, 2023, at Bachlott Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Dustin Morrison, Terry Temple, Trey Laramore, Jason Kirkland, Terry Lee and Travis O’Quinn.
Arrangements were with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
