WAYCROSS — Mrs. Patricia Ann Steedley, 75, died Wednesday morning, April 26, 2023 at Memorial Satilla Health.
Mrs. Steedley was a lifelong resident of Waycross. She worked at Joe Breeze Cap Factory and Spatola Shoe Factory where she was a seamstress. Mrs. Steedley was a member of Hebardville Methodist Church.
She was the daughter of the late Clarence Johnson and Ruth Lockrain Johnson. Mrs. Steedley also was preceded in death by a son, Gerald “Stevie” Thrift, and all of her siblings.
Mrs. Steedley is survived by her husband, Donald Steedley of Waycross; four children, Darrell Steedley (Christy) of Waycross, Dana Grace (Troy) of Brantley County, Donnie Steedley of Brantley County, and David Steedley of Brantley County; nine grandchildren, Dalton Steedley, Abby Poole (Jacob), Tandi Grace, Dusty Grace (Heather), Desiree Steedley, Destiny Steedley, Dylan Steedley, Taylor Steedley, and Levi Thrift; six great grandchildren, Raegan DePratter, Ally Grace, Kinley Grace, Madelyn Grace, Maci Prescott and Gracie Prescott; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A funeral service was held Saturday, April 29 at at Hebardville Methodist Church.
Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
