WAYCROSS — Nettie Waters Fail, 73 of Waycross, died Saturday afternoon, February 25, 2023 at Memorial Satilla Health after an extended illness.
Mrs. Fail was born in Hoboken to the late Bill and Geraldine Waters and made Waycross her home for most of her life. She enjoyed fishing and loved her dogs.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fail is preceded in death by two husbands, Roy Sikes and Percy Spears; three siblings, Betty Lee, Archie Waters and Bailey Waters.
Mrs. Fail is survived by her son, Lee Sikes of Blackshear (Janice); a grandson, Cody Sikes (Erica) of Fernandina Beach, Fla.; a great-grandson, Oliver Sikes; a sister, Carolyn Braddock of Waycross; her former husband, Walter Fail of Waycross; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Memorialization was by cremation.
